“As cliche as it might sound, I had a blast! “
As I think about my experience regarding the 2011 Vegas Cine Fest, a smile comes over me. Maria and Philip Marcus made my partner, Jose and I, feel welcome from the start. From the first moment of meeting, Maria was attentive and bubbly. I felt like I’ve known her many years. And to my surprise, she actually REMEMBERED my film, “Addicted!” I was happily impressed.
And then I had the pleasure to meet her husband, Philip Marcus. He was more calm and collected. He treated us like we were celebrities. He was attentive to our questions and was also looking out for us to attend panels, which were informative and revealing.
I networked with other filmmakers, I met John Landis, I enjoyed talking to the volunteers. I enjoyed meeting Ghen Long and saw some really good movies. What more could I ask for? I know, I want to do it again!
Once again, thank you Maria and Philip! I wish you the best for future Vegas Cine Fests and hopefully we can be a part of that! Sincerely, Jesús Galindo

My crew and myself attended our movie as well as others and found the entire process very entertaining. We especially enjoyed the emphasis on being able to question the crews that made the films (as well as us being able to answer questions as well).
The award ceremony was entertaining as well. We enjoyed the band, the Blues Brothers, the comedians, and the entire experience. Thank you for a great festival

From the moment that a film has been accepted into the festival, the staff is by your side.Every day of the festival is filled with wonderful talks with movers and shakers in the Hollywood scene, Premiers of bigger films, Red Carpets events, and nightly meet-and-greets. The staff is extremely helpful and encouraging.

As a new filmmaker, I was unsure with what I was exactly getting involved with while submitting to film festivals. I had heard good things about the Vegas Cine Fest in passing, and sort of submitted off a hunch. This was the first film festival our film “Z” was accepted in, and in turn became the world premier for both our film and myself as a filmmaker. I will say bluntly that I would have had it no other way.
Great atmosphere, great people involved, really friendly staff and personnel, and I was able to develop a personal relationship with all of the co-founders as well as honored guests (which is apparently not a typical film fest experience!)
I had an incredible amount of fun at all of the events, the scheduling made it easy to see all of the other quality films, and there was still plenty of time to have that traditional Vegas experience. Just too fun to pass up.

When my commercial was selected as an ‘Official Selection’ I was honored to be part of this year’s line up at Vegas Cine Fest. I have heard of this festival from others and it does not disappoint! It is a very exciting event with great founders, wonderful staff and volunteers, and amazingly professionally distinguished honored guests.
The award ceremony was considerably intricate and only dwarfed by the thrill of getting to win and share a stage with such wonderful filmmakers. A festival in the heart of Vegas only adds another layer of entertainment and networking that makes this festival that much more of one to participate in!
